Notice of Withdrawal - Environmental Screening Process

Skyway 124 Wind Farm Project, Clearview Township

Skyway Wind Group is formally withdrawing from the Environmental Screening Process (ESP) for the Skyway 124 Wind Farm Project in Clearview Township.  With the proclamation of the Renewable Energy Approval Regulation (Ont. Reg. 359/09), the ESP process under Ontario Regulation 116/01 no longer applies to this project.

The Skyway 124 Wind Farm Project is now subject to the Ont. Reg. 359/09.  Prior to the construction of five wind turbines, Skyway Wind Group must obtain a Renewable Energy Approval.

There are public consultation provisions under O. Reg. 359/09.  Persons who have expressed an interest in the Skyway 124 Wind Farm Project will be notified of consultation opportunities as Skyway Wind Group seeks a Renewable Energy Approval for this project.
